scott and ce’lynn were married in kenora, ontario. the rainy morning steadily progressed into a warm autumn day, and the sun finally shone boldly through the trees towards the end of the forest ceremony. lots of friends + family, and a big happy good-lookin’ wedding party, surrounded the two lovebirds throughout the day.

everything about scott and celynn’s wedding fit them perfectly – from her handmade fabric bouquet to his wedding band carved from wood.  i was so blessed to be a part of this gorgeous and totally heartfelt day.

after the ceremony, the wedding party took a sailboat across the lake to the reception (which happened to be the very sailboat scott proposed to ce’lynn on!). the lake was beautiful, and the chilly september air made the warm kawaii crepe i had at the reception the best i’ve ever tasted.

[thanks to evan, again, for second-shooting like nobody’s business!]

an anthropologie dress made for amy, patiently waiting for her to come back someday // morning coffees on bright sidewalks (1/2 hot chocolate for me)  // warming up in malt shops // city horizons // the glorious mill city museum + guthrie theater, side by side on the river // a reminder for kindness on the drive back home

the architecture nerd in me was so excited to finally see the mill city museum (which i studied in my last year of school)!  it was even more incredible (from the outside at least) than i imagined.

[iphone + film – i wish i had more film photos to share, but a combination of a broken camera + my impatience means they are sadly lost … ! ]
